What Basement Finishing Includes
Framing
We frame non-load-bearing walls to create rooms, closets, and utility areas. All framing is done with pressure-treated bottom plates (required by NJ code for contact with concrete) and standard dimensional lumber.
Insulation
Proper insulation is critical for a comfortable, energy-efficient basement. We install rigid foam insulation on basement walls (prevents moisture and cold transfer) and batt insulation in ceilings as needed.
Drywall
Hang, tape, mud, sand, and prime all walls and ceilings. We use moisture-resistant drywall in bathroom areas and near any plumbing penetrations.
Flooring
