Flooring Types We Install
Luxury Vinyl Plank (LVP)
LVP is our most-installed flooring type and the most versatile. It's 100% waterproof, durable enough for high-traffic areas, comfortable underfoot, and available in realistic wood and stone styles. Perfect for kitchens, bathrooms, basements, and any room where moisture is a concern. Brands: COREtec, LifeProof, Shaw Floorté.
Hardwood Flooring
Real hardwood flooring solid or engineered adds warmth and value that no other material replicates. Solid hardwood can be refinished multiple times over its lifetime. Engineered hardwood (real wood veneer over plywood core) handles humidity better and is the right choice for areas with temperature and moisture variation. We install both nail-down and glue-down applications.
Porcelain & Ceramic Tile
Tile flooring is the most durable option available. Completely impervious to water, scratch-resistant, and requires almost no maintenance beyond regular cleaning. Ideal for kitchens, bathrooms, mudrooms, and entryways. We install tiles from 4x4 mosaics to 24x48 large-format slabs.
Carpet Removal & Disposal
Updating from carpet to hard flooring? We remove and dispose of existing carpet and carpet pad, assess the subfloor underneath, and prepare it for your new flooring.
Subfloor Preparation Why It Matters
Every flooring installation we do starts with subfloor assessment. We check for:
- Level: Dips and humps cause LVP and tile to crack over time. We grind high spots and apply floor leveling compound to low spots.
- Structural integrity: Soft or bouncy panels are replaced before flooring goes down.
- Moisture: Concrete subfloors are tested for moisture before hardwood or LVP installation.
Skipping subfloor prep is the most common cause of flooring failure. We don’t skip it.
